One unified solution

Traditional industrial data management means fragmented systems, manual processes and limited analytics — inefficiency, delayed decisions and missed performance improvements. EPSILON replaces that with a single platform that integrates disparate sources, enables real-time monitoring and powers advanced analytics for continuous improvement.

A digital-twin foundation

The platform captures comprehensive DCS data with unparalleled accuracy and security, providing a robust foundation for AI-enhanced analysis of operational trends through a digital-twin approach — a virtual representation of the plant, built from real-time sensor data, that reveals behaviour, performance and maintenance needs.

Cloud-native, plant-grounded

Data is collected and stored locally, then synchronised through the firewall to the EPSILON AI Cloud: easily scalable, easy to deploy, and evergreen — subscription software that is always up to date. Plant data is no longer locked to engineers; authorised members across the organisation extract reports and gain deeper understanding.

The right system, deployed well, leads to large cost savings and surfaces multiple optimisation opportunities in your plant — while being easy for your employees to use.EPSILON Digital Twin · white paper, executive summary

Information security

Security & compliance by design

EPSILON PIMS runs on Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services — cloud providers independently certified to ISO/IEC 27001 and audited under SOC 2 Type II. Plant data is collected and kept on site, synchronised outbound through your firewall, and protected at every layer between the sensor and the screen.

Cloudflare Edge · access · delivery

Global edge network in front of every EPSILON endpoint: TLS 1.3 termination, web application firewall, DDoS mitigation and Zero Trust access policies. Static assets and APIs are served from Cloudflare Workers close to the user, never directly from origin.

ISO/IEC 27001SOC 2 Type II

Amazon Web Services Compute · storage · backup

The EPSILON AI Cloud — synchronisation, analytics, simulation and the Insight Engine — runs in AWS regions of your choosing. Data is encrypted at rest with managed keys, isolated per tenant, backed up continuously and restorable to a point in time.

Provider certifications apply to the underlying infrastructure. Attestation reports are available from each provider under NDA; EPSILON's own control documentation is available on request.

Why EPSILON?

Six capabilities, one deployment

  1. Collection — local to the source, up to 1 million data points per second across unlimited tags.
  2. Trend analysis — a built-in feature, not an add-on module, for optimising the plant in real time.
  3. Anomaly detection — runs in the background with smart alerts that avoid alarm fatigue.
  4. Periodic reporting — democratised data for authorised members across the organisation.
  5. Evergreen — subscription software, always the latest release.
  6. Foundational AI — predict batch runs, transitions and equipment start-ups from all historical data.

FAQ

Common questions

What data sources can EPSILON connect to?

Native drivers cover DCS, SCADA, PLC and IoT protocols including OPC UA/DA, MQTT Sparkplug B, SQL and CSV, plus manual import. Collection happens local to the source, with store-and-forward buffering so an outage never loses data.

Where does my data live?

Data is collected and stored on-premise first — on the data ingestion server and immutable database inside your network — then synchronised through your firewall to the EPSILON AI Cloud for analysis, reporting and remote access.

Do I need to write code to use NexusTM or SimTwinTM?

No. NexusTM formulas are composed in a text or visual editor with built-in functions, and SimTwinTM models can be imported from DWSIM flowsheets, Excel workbooks or pasted equations. Inputs are bound to live tags with a searchable picker.

How is the simulation kept honest?

SimTwinTM reconciles its results against real-time historian data continuously, so the model fit is always known and reported. What-if studies therefore run against today's plant conditions rather than a design case.

Can it scale across several plants?

Yes. Each site collects locally and synchronises to the same cloud, so multi-site organisations get one asset model, one login and one set of dashboards across every plant.

Is EPSILON a one-off licence or a subscription?

EPSILON is evergreen subscription software: you are always on the latest release, with no upgrade projects.
